Party secretary Xiao Bo’s delegation visit Australia, New Zealand University

Invited by Deakin University, Australia, Auckland, New Zealand and University of technology and other colleges and universities, to further promote the internationalization of our University personnel training process and the smooth development of Sino-foreign cooperation and exchange projects, from November 15 - 22, school party secretary Xiaobo, director of mathmatic and computer department Zhang Cong, director of international office Zhou Peisong , deputy director international office Shi li - a delegation of four people went to  Australia and New Zealand universities to carry out the higher education exchange programs.

Xiaobo delegation met with Australia Deakin University executive vice president Gary, Professor Smith, executive director Mr. John. Mo Raleigh. They welcomed guests from Wuhan Polytechnic University visiting and introduced about the University development. Xiao Bo introduced the basic situation of our University, characteristic specialty, and exchanges and cooperation with foreign University. During the talks, the two sides reached an agreement on further strengthen exchanges and cooperation, including the mutual recognition of credits, students exchanges, young teachers training and scientific research team building , agreed to start from the architecture to enhance the level of cooperation and other professionals, and extended to other undergraduate and graduate cooperations .

While in Australia, Xiao Bo and his delegation met with Chinese Deputy Consulate General Huang Guobin in Melbourne , Education consulate General Yang Zhiyong, Chi Gang. Deputy Consul General Huang Guobin who said they would actively assist our university to carry out exchanges and cooperation in Australia and promote exchanges and learning among students and teachers.

During the visit in New Zealand, Xiao Bo and his delegation met with the person in charge of the relevant academic aspects of the Auckland University of Technology. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the undergraduate and graduate education cooperation between the two Universities, would start cooperation and  exchanges  in the field of mathematics and computer, etc, from  point with surface,and to promote educational exchanges and cooperation projects in other areas of expertise.
