UCA University Conference Successfully Held at WHPU

On the afternoon of September 21, Professor Ji Cheng of the UCA University International Affairs Commissioner made a wonderful speech in our university for more than 200 students in professional art design and other fields at the Science Reporting Hall on the second floor of the Library on Jinyinhu Campus.

After giving the students a brief video introduction of the basic situation of UCA University, Professor Ji Cheng focused on the UCA’s position and achievements in British schools, the location of the campus and curriculum, and the intention of cooperation with the later stage of this institute. Three aspects were explained to the students. Professor Ji Cheng told the students that the school was ranked as the highest in art major university of the year and ranked second in the ranking of modern universities in the UK. In the 2018 British Guardian University Rankings, the architectural, apparel and textile, film production and photography professional rankings ranked in the top ten. Currently, UCA has a total of four campuses in Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, and Rochester. Each campus is a place for living, studying and enjoyment. They are connected to each other and become a collaborative creative center. Its courses mainly include animation, crafts and product design, graphic design and illustration, photography and etc. In the future, UCA will further strengthen its intention to cooperate with our University to encourage our students to study at UCA as exchange students. “After passing the exam and finishing all the required credits, students will be awarded corresponding bachelor degrees.” said Professor Ji Cheng.

“After listening to this preaching session, I learned about some more high-end creative arts give me chance to understand the endless charm of artistic creativity, I understand that I have to study harder to have the opportunity to travel, to experience the art cultures of different countries, and to communicate and integrate with each other to create better works of art.” Tan Xiuzheng said.
