With winter approaching, the confirmed cases of COVID-19 emerge sporadically in several places, and therefore complicates the prevention and control situation . On the afternoon of November 4th, the International Office and the School of Economics carried out a special publicity on popularises pandemic prevention knowledge to international students, tightening the string of epidemic prevention and control.

Xiao Boming, secretary of the sub-Party Committee of the School of Economics, mobilized international students for epidemic prevention and control, and explicated the current trend of COVID-19 pandemic at home and abroad. He pointed out that the current global epidemic fluctuates repeatedly, there are multiple related cases in China, coupled with the weather and other superimposed factors, the development of the pandemic is unpredictable. In light of the relevant prevention and control requirements of the school's prevention and control office, Xiao Boming emphasized that international students should form a strong awareness that "each individual is the first responsible person for his/her own health", consciously abide by the school's epidemic prevention and control management requirements, familiarize themselves with the relevant handling procedures for epidemic prevention and control, and actively maintain the public safety. If symptoms such as fever occur, they should report to a higher level timely. The school will assist him/her to go to designated hospitals for medical treatment as soon as possible.
