On October 13, Vice-Chancellor Professor Bradley • Cook and Vice Provost Dr. Stephen • Allen of Southern Utah University and Director of International Affairs Dr. Huang Yage and his party of four people came to visit our University, exchanged and consulted some related matters in depth such as the collaborate of Undergraduate Program for Engineering Management and Advertising with our University, and the project that excellent students's short time study in the United States.

President Liu Mingang expressed a warm welcome and sincerely appreciated their efforts in developing the program.

Vice President Sun Xiangyang hoped that the two Universities can further deepen cooperation on projects, and will send more students to America to develop excellent students that can meet international development's requirements.The two parts communicated and consulted some related matters in depth,such as improving the project cooperation and personel training program, English level test for students studying in America ,

the training project that students traveling to the United State in summer and so on, and reached many beneficial agreements to make projects develop further.

On October 14,there were two symposiums for students of Undergraduate Program ofEngineering and Advertising respectively held in Science Report Hall in Changqing campus at 10 am and in the library in Gold and silver campus at 2pm,by America Southern Utah delegation.They introduced Southern Utah University and its good studying environment, and also encouraged our students at present to strive for seeking higher education in the United States. The atmosphere was pretty warm,students responded positively, asked questions activity. The symposiums benefited a lot, not only broadened the international vision for many Sino-US projects, but also let every student be clearer about their direction of future efforts.

On October 14, 4pm,Southern Utah delegation cordially met the whole members of the training mission for outstanding college students traveling to America in 2015, and awarded certificates of completion for every students. Two student representatives did wonderful reportsabout their trip,America Southern Utah delegation thought highly of our training mission and hoped more students can take part in the project in the future.
