At 10am on March 15th, Mr. David W. Smith, director of international affairs of the West Virginia University, and Ms. Tian zhenjiao, general agent of online English program in Asia Pacific, came to Wuhan Polytechnic University. Mr Zhou peisong, director of the International office of WHPU, warmly welcomed the guests. The teaching leaders of food science and engineering faculty, economics and management faculty, animal science and nutrition engineering faculty and chemistry and environmental engineering faculty attended this meeting.
At the meeting, director Zhou peisong introduced the basic information and international cooperation of our University. He pointed out that there are numerous similar subjects between these two universities such as agriculture, animal science, professional nursing, chemical environment and biological pharmaceutical. Various forms of cooperation projects could be organized in these fields in future.
David W. Smith said he eagerly awaited for the upcoming cooperation projects between two universities. The West Virginia University would design reasonable scheme as soon as possible and implement this project in September.
After that, the teaching leaders of food science and engineering faculty, economics and management faculty, animal science and nutrition engineering faculty and chemistry and environmental engineering faculty discussed deeply and reached the consensus with David W. Smith and Ms. Tian zhenjiao respectively.
