On September 11th, the first 18 international students from Southwest State University in Russia registered at Wuhan Polytechnic University where they will study Chinese Language and Literature for one semester at the School of Humanities and Communication. The relevant persons in charge of the School of International Education and School of Humanities and Communication visited international students at their dormitories.
At the entrance of the international students' apartment in the Jingyin Lake Campus with wonderful landscape, the relevant persons in charge of International Office and the School of Arts and Media held a brief and warm welcome ceremony for the international students, and then checked their accommodations, and made a good knowledge of their living environments and needs in detail. At the same time, they also carried out in-depth exchanges, communication and planning on the daily management, study arrangement, activity planning and cultural exchange activities during the period of study.
It is reported that this is the first international seminar held by the school since its establishment, the Russian students will learn Chinese language and traditional Chinese culture in our university. The organization of this international seminar will play a positive role in strengthening China-Russia friendship and fostering cultural exchanges.
